Corporate Identity
Corporate identity includes the creation and development of a logo or word mark specifically created for your enterprise. This is a three-step process starting with consultation, then presentation of concepts (typically three) and finally, finished art. The finished logo will include a set of guidelines for proper usage.
Upon approval of the logo design, the client may also choose to have stationery developed, either for print or for internal use (MS Word document).
Print Media
Print media is a broad term that applies to brochures, product sheets, flyers, manuals, books, magazines, specialty print items, annual reports and virtually any item that will be printed onto paper or paper-like materials. CMC has over 25 years of experience creating print media, including one-off designs and multiple piece campaigns, for a broad range of industries and organizations.
Web Design
Design for the Internet can take many forms but the main principles – ease of use, informative content and a clear benefit to the client – are paramount. The site should be built with the needs of your target audience in mind.
Web sites can include traditional web pages (HTML/CSS), database-driven content, Flash animation, video and much more. But not every site needs every bell and whistle; content and presentation should be selected carefully.
An effective web site keeps visitors interested by fulfilling their wants and expectations. When they leave the site they should have found the answer to the question that brought them there in the first place.
Advertising
Advertisements can come in many forms (including digital banner ads for the internet) but traditionally they include newspapers and magazines. Many publications will build your ad for free or for a small fee but in the end you will only get what you pay for. The ad will often be uninspired, unfocused and uninformative. Like all aspects of your marketing, advertisments need to be planned and targeted for your audience. Maintaining the characteristics inherent in your branding is extremely important.
Display Advertising
Display advertising includes billboards, transit banners, bus backs, transit shelter posters, tradeshow display systems, fleet graphics and many other display marketing pieces. Often these are tied directly into your branding. Other times they may focus on a specific campaign or event. Regardless effective display advertising needs to clearly and creatively deliver your message in seconds since most viewers will only be exposed to them for less than a minute. Display advertising needs to be easy to read, clear, consise and to the point.
